With offices located in West Allis, Madison, and Racine, WI. Poblocki Paving is known to be the most time-efficient asphalt contractor in this competitive business. Having found a specific niche in this market, Poblocki can take a complete job and utilize all of its resources to finish the project in a timely fashion. This allows customers to keep their businesses open and running, a feat many other contractors simply can't accomplish without the quality manpower and equipment Poblocki Paving maintains. Each year the company continues to expand its employee base, machinery, and customer service area, which now extend in to northern Illinois, Madison, Sheboygan, as well as the greater Milwaukee area.

Approximately 85% of PPC`s work is in the private sector with the remainder spread across county,  municipal, local school districts and governmental agencies. The smallest project could be a driveway in the 20-30 ton range while the largest projects include interstate truck stops, a stretch of General Mitchell airport (paved from 11 P.M. to 6 A.M.), and many expansive business parks. Regardless of the scale of the job, quality work is paramount because repeat business is a valued commodity.


History
John Poblocki, the company's president, began this asphalt enterprise in 1969, straight out of college. Originally named Ace Asphalt, this company has grown from six employees in 1972 to approximately 172 today. Beginning with one run-down dump truck, Poblocki Paving now runs four full-time paving crews, including infrared seamless patching.

 John Poblocki said that a "passion for perfection" is the operative phrase for all the projects the company undertakes. He also believes that this emotion starts at the top of the company management and filters down to each and every person at Poblocki.

"We like to be the general contractor on all of our jobs," Poblocki said. "But hot mix asphalt paving would have to be our specialty. Being self-contained allows us to give a customer a starting date of no more than four weeks away if they want it. "And never have we failed to meet that date."

Poblocki Paving has been paving for over 42 years and has made a significant contribution to the development of southeastern Wisconsin. We will continue to hire the best talent, invest in modern equipment and improve our processes to provide our customers with the highest standard of service.
